I made one from harbor freight 1 ton shop crane, had to put on 8 inch air tires so it will go over uneven ground goes over the hive pick it up strap it to the base of the lift and wheel it to its new location or load it on to a trailer works pretty good and it was less than 150$

Apilift has the patent/rights for this type of lift in Germany

but you could build quite a few for the cost of one original.
There are many more affordable units available in eastern Europe as you found out, but they direct you to Apilift.

Here are some pics of my home made bee lift works real good on uneven ground. I pick up a hive then lower it back on to the stand and strap it to the strand to hold it in place. I can wheel it right on to my trailer or to another location in the yard.
