So, I locked both hives down for two days, did the wet sheet gig and today-went back to "normal". These are my Carnies (the second second shot is of a partial body count).
Oh, Bendbill! I literally gasped when i saw that second photograph. Just this morning, i was wondering how your hives were doing. The resiliency of a colony is certainly being tested in your yard. It's good to hear people say their hives rebounded well from similar attacks.
Hoping to get this nailed down. My wife loves the bees but has a lot on her plate. I have been diagnosed with terminal stage 4 cancer. I am hoping to have these hives stable and healthy but have said to my bride of 23 years that she should feel fine selling the hives if need be.
