Bee Fat...

So I'd been wondering about bee fat recently.

Most books on beekeeping and bees talk about how to handle and start up caring for hives. Not many go into their biology and nutrition.

I'm wondering where I can find information on which nutritients in their food go to their fat? (And how the make up works, in terms of % of nectar and protein, that go into it....)

I can look this up on my own if someone can put me in the right direction. I don't want someone to think I'm taking from them.

Thanks

In my mind, at least, there is a difference between "Bee Fat", and "Fat Bees". :)

For a resource on Fat Bees, Randy Oliver easily comes to mind:
