Been keeping bees for 14 years now. Been noticing lately that the bees seem to calm down when l am there. So much so that bees that were stinging everything within 10 feet will not sting when l am there? Am l imagining this or is there something to it?

How do you know they were stinging everything within 10 feet if you were not there?

Do you use a bee suit?

You could market a new product and make millions, there is a ton of applications not just to beeks.

the bees have a sense of somehow knowing many things, smell? i have neuropathy, a tingling and numbness in the extremities, they sting on the spinal column on my neck, no more tingling. i have an inner and outer cataract in my right eye as well as a bleeding floater. it is now up to 16 stings near that eye four times a direct hit on the pressure point, how do they know? the floater stopped bleeding and my vision is much better. last time it was right on the upper lid. as the swelling went down the venom soothed the eye.
i love honey bees and i do not fear them. they sense that!
yes i have a bee suit and no i do not use it.

You just told us they don't sting you... now you're saying they've stung you 16 times near your eye?

Which is it?

This thread title was interesting. I have found over the years that bee's like me. I was in Chicago on a work trip standing in the parking lot of a office building and a honey bee landed on my arm just sat there for a while then flew off. Happened again in Cali. It seems that I must have a scent of bee on me and it attracts them. I thought that I showered well but, maybe not enough. It could be my baseball caps I wear them into the bee yards also. It is really weird how many times the girls come visit me.
