I use good ole hot tap water.

About 2oz of gasoline and a match on a gravel driveway, a long way from anything. Lay brush down, pour gas on bristles, strike match, aim carefully, toss match from about 2' away. Leave. Go to computer order new brush from bee supply company. Problem solved. The bees are happy. Hopefully you will be after you clean up what is left of the old one. Sorry I couldn't resist!

I can't figure out why you have that much wax and honey on your "BEE" brush. Next time try using an uncapping knife:doh: Sorry I couldn't resist, Welcome to the forum!

Let it rest against the smoker for a while. You'll smell this sweet but god-awful smell of nylon and honey scorching away then realize you just ruined the brush.
Guess it's time for a new one. :doh:

If you have a lot of wax on the brush, first put it in the freezer. After a couple of hours take the brush outside and smack the bristles against the corner of a wall or railing several times. The frozen wax will be very brittle and will shatter out. Then wash in very hot water to remove the honey.
