Hi there,
I'm just posting here to let You know about a beekeeping group in Poland that tries to be treatment free - "Bee Brotherhood". Here is the link to the webpage in English: http://www.bractwopszczele.pl/eng/eng.html
recenlty I've recorded a video on our efforts. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gevShRyOoCc
(I know it's quite a dull one... ;-) And hopefully I've not made many language mistakes).
I'm TF beekeeper for 5 years now (some time ago I was posting here - but later on I had no time to follow this forum - and unfortunatelly probably I will have no time in the future too, because we are doing many things in Poland building and promoting our organization Bee Brotherhood), but the first year I lost all the bees, and two years later (spring 2017) I lost almost all the bees (I was left with one). I bought some bees then, and last year I wintered 48 colonies (mostly nucs) with 90% of genetics that was from the survivors. So this is the 5th year of the surviving genetics. This year about 50% survived (25 colonies so far). Hopefully I will not have to buy bees any more
Have fun with beekeeping
And I wish You all healhy bees that don't need any of those toxins.
