I was all excited about Brushy Mtn. having a 6 5/8 single division board feeder. It is TOO SHORT. It measures 18 7/16". It just falls right through. They make a die and punch these things out by the thousands, didn't anybody check the length? It's almost impossible to believe. I'm going to call tomorrow, they are closed now which is really for the best. I will let you know what they say.

I put a spacer block on each side but then you always have to watch where it is etc. Can you imagine the mess they are going to have? There are going to be some mighty unhappy beeks out there and I am one.

The deeps I purchased are also too short. I glued on a small block on each frame rest ear. A Pain, but I like the feeders... only need remove one frame to use them and they nice thick stiff plastic and hold about three quarts or close to a gallon. The floaters need to be scraped as the mold seams area make it so it rubs and keeps the floater from floating. Quick fix it is with a wood rasp. It's too bad they too short, They must have shorter hives where these are made or something.

No problem with Mother Lode deeps or the 6 5/8. No problems with a sticky float when using the caps and ladders either. Only problem is about 1 out of 100 hives will propolize the holes in the ladder so it makes it difficult to fill but at least they won't starve when a float gets stuck.

The standard for langstroth hives is 19 7/8" with a 3/8" rabbit cut out of each end = 19 1/8". Their frames are 18 15/16" to 19". Why would you possibly make a feeder 1/2" shorter? Their Q.C. must have been on vacation.

Hello,

Everyone. We certainly regret the situation with those feeders. We received the incorrect parts. We have new feeders on the way (no not from China). Certainly, they should have been checked before being sent out. Again, I regret they weren't. Unfortunately, we are not perfect, but I believe the true test of company is how they fix mistakes. We are trying to contact people that bought them to make it right.

Regards,
Shane
