Queens in general want to be kept in a coolish, non-drafty and preferably dark space in your house.

When you first receive the queens - open up the mail packaging to make sure they are ok. Dip your finger under the water tap and gently touch your finger to the screen on the queen cage to give the queen/attendants a bit of water.

I've kept queens like this for 3-4 days without problem. But do try to get them installed sooner than that!

One drop of water at a time. I usually tap my finger in a cup of water, just the tip, and then place that on the screen. assuming you have wooden cages, that is.

What are they in? Individual wooden cages? Plastic cages in a battery box? Or what?
