Has enyone tryed putting aromatic cedar in with there honey suppers? Will the smell of the cedar control wax moth during the winter storage period?

It might since it seems to work in my closet. I know it is no longer recommended for small rodent cages because of the oil will cause respirator problems.

You might do better to check this thread. I don’t know how many supers you need to protect, but this suff works great. If you don’t need a lot he may break a bag, but I can’t say for sure.

I have had boxes made of scraps from building closets. It appeared to make no difference to the wax moths or the bees.
