So I've been really worrying about how people keep their hives alive in places like Arizona in the summer, and NM, Southern Utah etc.

This is like really dry heat, and places with sometimes almost no water around.

How do beeks deal with this?
And how often do you check them when its really hot like that?
Do you have to keep apiaries closer to your residence also, so you can be in and out more?
And other necessary strategies?

Thanks.
And then I guess you probably have more than one drip if there's several hives right? Does each hive have to have its own drip to avoid robbing and other problems?
