I checked a hive that appears to be queenless. No eggs, brood etc.
The hive swarmed April 20 so there should still be time for a Queen to show herself.

The bees are quite clingy on the bottoms of a number of frames and I’m wondering how much to read into that. I generally think of that clinginess being a sign of a hive that likes its Queen.
I’m taking a wait and see on this. Just curious on others’ thoughts on this behavior.
