my question is... I ended up giving each deep 2 frames of capped honey and 8 frames of foundation. When it is time ot hive the packages, where should the frames of honey bee? In the middle, outsides.... I have no clue.

The center I would leave open for brood rearing...so placing them just about to the outside is what I would do.

How big is your bee baggage?

If you have 4 lbs bees, it occupyes 8 Langstroth frames. If you have 2 lbs, it needs 4 frames and medium wall. If you have 2-3 lbs bees 2 full frames are good because queen needs those combs for eggs. It depends if bees get honey outside. Too much food block the egg area.
