I have a gentlemen with a swarm the size of a basketball in a small tree six feet above the ground 30 feet from his house he would like removed.

I am completely out of equipment to go get it!

LOL... never mind he just sent me a picture and it is a paper wasp nest!

lol frome this time on in the year ask a LOT of questions about the "bees" nest people want you to remove it will save you a lot of time.

yep sounds like about half of the swarm calls i got this year, you sure learn to ask lots of questions real fast. LOL Jim

did you tell mix to go buy some raid?

i have had a couple of calls this summer, one was a business, they wanted a trap out and i did not have the time and then decided it needed to be cut out.
i think they ended up spraying the bees

the second was a colony in a tree for 8 years. i told the people i would have to cut the bees out. i going to go take a look at it later and see if they want the job done in the spring.

i think if you put a july swarm in a drawn out hive it might just fly?

you may waste a little time and sugar, like buying a lottery ticket.

Add a frame of brood and they should stay. Reduce the opening also.

We had a dozen bumble and yellow jacket and 2 wasp calls. Went to a few when I forgot to ask enough questions. Plus a few swore they were honey bee's.
