At my old house I had a few colonies in the backyard, uphill from the house. I loved goldenrod season. As evening set in and the air stilled the smell of ripening goldenrod and bamboo honey would drift down and into my bedroom window. It was like being in a butterscotch factory.
Caught a few hints in the air each day since Wednesday or Thursday last week. More like a trickle than a flow, but I sampled some fresh nectar today. I love goldenrod
My 13 colonies had been going through 50 lbs of sugar a day, till a couple days ago, they are really slowing down, there must be a flow on, seeing orange pollen coming in.
