Without a doubt my first hive or two will be a good ol’ Langstroth, however I figure it does not hurt to gather any little bit of information I can about alternative keeping methods. I’ve read through several books, and I’m sure I’ll read through several more, but so far there has been little or no mention of Top Bar Hives. I’ve read various websites and text files, but some times I just want to curl up with a good book.

So has any one read or know of any good TBH books, or even other good beekeeping books for that matter.

As I mentioned a few days back on another thread Eva Crane's book: "Bees and Beekeeping Science, Practices and World Resources" devotes a few pages to TBH beekeeping. The book is out of print, but can be gotten through an inter-library loan. Used copies are available but pricey.
