Bees already have a limited ability to deal with SHB. We had a pretty warm summer and a mild fall so it looks like SHB reproduction at the end this season was higher and longer than normal. OAV has been used for so long in so many places I would expect that someone would have conclusively noticed if it was increasing SHB populations.

Thanks....i see shb throughout the winters but very small populations.....in all my hives for years. People think they magically disappear when it gets cold.
A healthy robust hive harass shb to control them, it is only when they get compromised somehow that I have ever seen the kiss of death in shb larva ... that is awful. I have a lot of shb which is just crazy for this time of year....thanks
