I got several rolls of aluminum tape (typically used on the heat ducts).
For free.
It was a great rebate in Menards 1-2 month ago.

I do have few ideas how to use these:
* taping the holes in metal roofing (I got tons of roofing metal with nail holes)
* taping over exposed poly-insulation sheets;
* taping over any holes that bees will chew through otherwise.

Any other ideas of how to use these tapes around the equipment?

Lot of people in my area use it in winter to tape the boxes and bottoms board seams to keep out drafts/water.

I've taken some spare Styrofoam that came in packing material and cut it into the size of a deep frame, then wrapped the insulation and the frame in the tape to make a heat reflective follower board.

In a lot of ways it's like duct tape, definitely a very long list of things you could use it for.
