In wester Pa does anything have a nectar flow after the glodenrod or is the goldenrod the end.

I was also wondering when the goldenrod quit producing nectar, or is it good till it gets really cold.

Well, here in SW MI, the goldenrod looks and smells to be almost over. About the time the goldenrod was fading the asters were starting to bloom. Probably similar with different timing in PA.

The bees don't seem to have as much to do now, either.

Once the freeze hits then I think its all over for sure.
