Can I just take some worker bees from another hive and combine it with my weak hive? Both have queens so I just want to box up some workers from a strong hive, move them over to the weak hive using the newspaper combine method. Both hives are miles apart.

I suppose you could, but why not just take a frame of sealed brood with adhering bees? This would give a better boost, new bees emerging with nurse bees adhering, would really give the weaker queen a boost she needs. Make sure the queen is not on it and just stick it in the other hive right into the cluster as if it belonged there. They are queenless nurse bees and will be accepted right away with no fighting.

Yeah, like Ray said. Plus, you could switch places w/ each other and exchange field forces. You could even go one step farther and equalize the frames of brood between the two colonies.
