I did my second ever cut out today, this one in a second floor apartment livingroom wall. The home owner wanted them out and I was more than willing to help. I did most of this cut out without veil and gloves on, just when cutting the combs away did I put the gloves on. The hive was between 16" studs , about 24" high, solid combs, mostly brood, I got 8 full Medium frames of just worker brood, another 2 full of drone brood.

After getting home, I got leads on 2 more hives that people need cut out!

Excellent cut-out. Did you manage to get any honeycombs?

How did you get the bees out of the way? I don't see a single bee anywhere, how'd you do that?
