A friend of mine brought over a pail of honey and asked if I could liquify it. He said he bought it from a friend over 30 years ago. How would I ever figure out the source? It is the darkest honey I have seen but tastes great.

I would be willing to sell some too if your brave....lol

I had a former beek give me two large jars of honey he found while cleaning out a cabinet. He said they were about ten years old. The honey inside was as black as molasses. Does all honey turn black as it ages?? Is it safe for bee feed?

I try to remember to save a jar from each year when I extract. I have some back into the '60s. Most are pretty dark. I have not tasted them.
