ok, first question...#1 Really warm day here so i popped open my hive bodies and took a look, pleased with most of them but i have 2 itilian hives that are full of bee's but no brood, well maybe 2 or 3 cells, so queen must be there right?
#2 Last year i spit a hive of Itilians and made them just weak enough that their neighbors stripped them almost clean of honey and when i open it back up i found a mess of wax moths webs and larva, i took both hive bodies and put them in the freezer, just took them out today. One is truly a mess but the other us about 1/3 taken over with frozen larve and webbing crap. If i put this on a hive that needs more space will they just clean them up and go on about business or will it put them off, or worse attract even more moths?

#1 Maybe....... Look for eggs thats a better indicator.

#2 They may clean them up. Give em a break and get the bulk of with a bee brush.
