Ok I inspected my hives this past sat. 5 days passed. The queens in both my hives were gone from the cages..I removed the empty cages. I used my frame spacing tool feed them and closed up the hive..
My question is...... One hive seems 3 times as active and stronger than the other.... Although they are busy building comb... Should I worry yet that the one hive seems weaker? I hived both packages the same day at about the same time. I am thinking some of the bees from the now weak hive went into the other hive. Thus the reason the one is weaker at the moment..

In the weak hive I pulled a frame and it was solid with bee's..... I didn't want to disturb them much until this weekend....
I will give them a better inspection then..... What should I see in week 2?

Happy bees..drawing comb and raising brood. Other threads have suggested exchanging hive placement if the size inequity doesn't balance out.
