I have run out all my 2:1 (except what's in the feeders now) and I'm off to the store to pick up another 25 pounds of sugar. It is a beautiful day today, sunny, mid 50's, the bees are flying, dandelion, chickweed, hen bit all starting to bloom but.....forecast is a few more ugly cold snaps and snow is a posibility always. They say about the weather in Georgia this time of year "if you don't like it: wait 5 minutes and it'll change" I have read to feed 1:1 in spring..so I wonder is it to soon to make the switch or does it matter, or should I even be feeding at all (they have some stores now..maybe 2-3 deep frames worth total per hive..it's spread around) Thanks for your response!
