New tbh, new package 16 days old.

The girls have build comb on 8 bars,
I see capped brood, both worker and drone.
I have nector, pollen and capped honey.
I saw eggs and larvae.

The brood pattern looks a little spoty?

What could be the cause, is it to earily to worry about?

Thx

Eric

I am only a year into this great hobby but what I have learned so far is it sounds like your bees are doing great. Relax and enjoy your bees.(i know it is easier said than done)

It's hard to know for sure what "a little spotty" means as I might have a different definition. All in all, though, it sometimes takes a queen a bit to hit her stride. If you mean there is an occasional cell that got missed, it's probably nothing to worry about. If you mean there are more gaps than larvae, then you may have a problem.
