Barnes and Noble has the hardcover 1992 edition of The Hive and the Honey Bee in stock for $10.80! If you're a member it's $9.72! Shipping was only a few bucks more.

I just ordered a copy with a gift card I got from work a while back

On the negative side, it seems someone is "dumping" 1992 copies of H&HB for cheap - Do I smell a new edition out soon? Anyone have the inside scoop from Dadant?

You did just fine!! The hive and the honey bee is mighty good reading, have read it several times and refer to it constantly! I think mine cost about three times that amount.

I've been meaning to give myself one as a gift this year but, it seems that they are all out already, a pity. Oh well guess I'll just wait it out a bit more to see if a new edition is in fact expected.
