“We were approached by a guy who’s really into urban beekeeping, to show how easy it is to maintain bees,” explains Valerie Niager, the craft brewery’s communications director. “We thought it was awesome, and we could also use fermented honey in small quantities for our mead and cider.” The State of Florida’s Department of Agriculture frowns on allowing urban bees to swarm. Better beer makers and marketers than beekeepers?

Drink our beer, feel good, and save the bees!

Seems like the owners prefer someone else doing the work, and taking credit for it. They never climbed the ladder, or hauled the equipment up, but own suits... and plan expansion. Not many will do the dirty work, and catch their swarms for nothing... Lol they need to get their hands dirty, building equipment, hive inspections, manipulations, ect. Then they can laugh about the guy going up there, for their expansion. Just buy the honey from someone that cares about their bees !!! Sorry, just an observation... with opinion thrown in....
