    Default Ants and larvae

I pulled the inspection piece from screened bottom board and noticed a lot of larvae and ants.
I poured it on the ground and left the inspection piece out. Is this normal?
I then sprinkled some cinnamon on my inner cover, I was not dressed in my vail, but evidently this pissed the bees off resulting in multiple bee stings. Lesson learned.

I’m not sure, don’t why it would be ant larvae. When I poured it out on the ground the ants were carrying it off

Wax moth larvae. See them all the time on SBB.
Thankfully, the bees are smarter than I am. They are doing well, in spite of my efforts to help them.

Not really. Just scrape the board off periodically. Unlike the SHB larvae, wax moth larvae do not pupate in the ground so exposure to the sun will kill them. The big ones make good bait for bream fishing. Google "wax worms" for pictures and other uses.
