First time using cages with Cork and pushed in before putting in split.Used a plug of wax to cover hole before putting in split.Should I check in two days to see if they have chewed it out or if not just remove it then?
A 3 hole wooden Q cage has 2 corks, one covering the hole stuffed with candy and one filling the hole used to insert the Q.If you also removed the candy cork, things should be fine.Either way I would wait 5 days before checking.Google "checking caged Q for acceptance"
Thx guys for your input. Today I am going to check the cage with the wax and see if she is ok to release or if they have chewed through the wax. Will let you know.
Kevin
