    Default No queen located

    Hello
    I hope someone can help
I installed a package on 4/28 3:30 pm queen cage empty after 4 days, could not locate her
Today 5/7 I did an inspection four of ten frames with nectar and pollen still cannot locate queen and there are no eggs in cells
found two queen cells in center of frame with royal jelly should I assume there is no queen?
I am new first year keeping bees so any help would be great
    Thank You
    Joseph

With no eggs you can't have queen cells with Royal Jelly. Even if you had a drone layer, which I doubt yet, there would still be eggs.

Give it time and find someone local to help/mentor you.

An extra queen in with the bees? Ratios of eggs, brood, age of bees in a package can seem wrong to the bees and they start supercedure cells with first eggs laid. Give it a few days and check again for queen and eggs. Dont tear down the cells; they are safe for a week from capping.
