For those of you missing your bees, here is a short clip of my bees inside one of their topbar hives. The bees really don't stay in cluster all winter long here in coastal Virginia. I've already done full inspections on all of them last week when it hit 68. Some are nectar bound in the brood nest already due to early blooming maples.
Wow collecting nectar already! The anticipation of this is driving me crazy. It was interesting to see in the apiary today, as the sun progressively hit each hive the bees would start coming out and doing their winter thing. Thanks for the video.
