Bees still crowding bird baths

It is November 11 with 20 degree nights and I still have bee crowding the bird baths, am I in trouble?
Are these bees still raising a lot of brood?

Yes I do have some ice on bird baths.
I have been adding hot water to the bird baths to melt the ice, should I just let it go?DSCF0030.jpg

I would keep doing what you are doing. My bees have been getting in my neighbors hot tub, and I am trying to stop this. If you are tired of dumping hot water in it you can get a electric heater.

If you aren't adding pollen sub or feeding sugar in small amounts which can stimulate brooding, then they will determine when to shut off brooding so I wouldn't worry about it. But it does appear that they need water so I would figure out a way to provide it in the cold weather. J
