In the other thread you said yellow. Orange is goldenrod. There are always a few late bloomers. Might have been mowed or otherwise distressed. We're seeing a bit of orange too.
There is no dandelion in Vermont. Occasionally you might see one or two this time of year in a sunny location in someone's yard. Most were gone by the end of June. There might be more further south, but not in abundance. J
I can't talk about eastern side of North America, but here in the Pacific NorthWest, Yellow pollen at this time is Ivy (could be mustard if someone planted it late summer for ground cover), orange would be Aster and Goldenrod.
My neighbor has some giant sunflowers that have somehow survived the frosts at night. Was out watching the girls collecting pollen, it was a dark orange on their legs. The variety I had in my yard has a whitish color pollen.
