Is there some type of chart that might show what color honey by be depending on nectar source?
My fall honey is likely from golden rod, but it is not the dark yellow (?) it is said to be.
Mine is a very light yellow.
Thanks...1/33rd

I dont know how accurate this if, but it was the first table I found
http://localhoneyfinder.org/TypesAndFlavorsOfHoney.php
Goldenrod is usually Extra Light Amber. It's not a dark honey. I tested some GR this year. Was in a nuc from comb the bees built in an empty box above the inner cover. Built right on the strongest flow from GR. Very strong odor and taste of GR. Color is 24mm...which is white. The crop this year tested at 38mm...ELA.
