    I thought bees didn't fly in the rain???

    Bees even fly in a rainy night.

    It was raining this morning and I saw several foragers... A gentle rain when it's not too cold and they will fly in the rain.

    They will if they have a good reason. Only difference is they are grumpy in the rain - look out!!

    Looks like they were cleaning out a honey-super. So more than likely they were there prior to the rain. A light rain won't stop them.
