Default Ok to use battery in jeep for OAV?

    Hi guys,

Probably another dumb question here, But can I just pull my Jeep close to the hives and run the OAV off the car battery? Should I have the car off when I do this? I only have 2 hives to treat. Any potential damage I will cause to the Jeep by doing this?

That is exactly what I do with my Toyota Tacoma. I have done it for 4 years now. I have had no problems.

I do the same with my car, drive right up to the front of the hives, attach jumper cables, have to do that because of fencing between hives and car, then attach OAV thingy to cables and off we go. I have my car running, but you can do it with the car off also, I've done both. Works so much easier than hauling a battery out to the hives.

Just make sure you put positive to positive, and negative to negative.
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

for many vaporizers polarity doesn't matter, as it is simple resistance.
If bees are flying you may find some yellow spots on your vehicle.
I also had to use jumper cables to reach. Be careful not to let them short out.
