    Default Water Your Grounding Rods

Just a reminder for those who have an electric fence where it has been dry. We are in a semi-drought here and my fence was not working until I poured 10 gallons of water on all 3 grounding rods. Bone dry soil just does not ground well. J

If you want it to work even better pour salt water on the grounding rods instead of normal tap water. Salt water is more conductive, but it will probably kill all of the plants that you pour it onto.

I run a second wire below my hot wire and connect it to the ground terminal on my fencer as well... trust me it gives a bigger jolt than ground rods ⚡️
