Default queen Peeping is that a bad sign for established hive?

So im new to beekeeping. I just picked up a second hive from a local guy and im sure I could call him but I figured I would see if I could find my own answers. So I opened the first hive today to take a peak after the first week of the bees being on the farm. I could hear a queen peep. Some research says new queens do that? but I was wondering would a healthy queen peep when I was smoking the hive or should I be worried? currently, they are in a 10 deep body with a second one on top and over the past week have drawn out a lot of the second box. the bees that I purchased were actual 10 deep hives that were split in the spring so they were full of bees and I added the second deep last weekend.

    thanks

If you hear queens piping they probably swarmed about a week ago or so and may do so again.
