    Default Semi aggressive swarm?

Good week in southern Indiana. 4 swarm calls in a single day. All on branches less than 20ft up. First three just placed a hive under them without a cover, threw a rope over the branch, gave a good jerk and everybody marched in in less than an hour. The last one went the same way with one exception. On the first tug of the rope, I spotted a dozen or so bees break ranks and come straight at me. 6 stings on my right wrist. Put my jacket on and repeated to get the returned bees off the branch and nobody seemed to mind. It took a total of 4 shakes. After the first one no aggression whatsoever. I was back in a T shirt sitting in the grass watching the March before all was done. I'm only a 2nd year swarm chaser but isn't aggresive behavior kinda odd in a swarm?

Any chance there was already some drawn comb under the 4th swarm? If a swarm gets established on a branch with some brood they can become more aggressive.
