Im an antiquer and came across this box.At first we thought is was a shipping crate from The Root company (beekeeper supplier) ,but after some research and further inspection ,i think its one of the bee boxes sold by the Root company. If i threw some pics up,think anyone here could say "yup, thats what it is all right" ?
hmm, must have hit wrong button... message doesnt seem to have posted..
K, ill put some up soon as i find the camera here.
I found what appears to be the box 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 1 /78 listed in an old root beekeeping supplies catalog ,so im even more sure now....BUT someone saying "yup, thats one" would be nice.
4 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 1 7/8 is the size of a basswood section for comb honey.
