    Hello, I'm in East Texas, and had a few of these guys land on me. Didn't get stung, but I think they were stinging my hat and clothes as you can see her venom sac is hanging out. I tried to match her pattern to all the different varieties of honeybee, but didn't find one to match. What is she?

    Honestly, that looks an awful lot like some of the young honeybees in one of my hives.

    I live in East TX too. Nac County. Welcome!

    Edit: just realized that this is from April. Oops.
