Default central maryland; lots of pollen coming in - what plants?; saw DRONES

Lots of pollen coming in; cream color, pale yellow, some orange; I stared up into the silver maples, red maples, and pussy willow, and did not see any bees up there, so I'm wondering what plants the bees are gathering pollen; any thoughts?

I was very surprised to see drones coming in; couldn't believe my eyes; not many, but about one in a hundred.

Seeing the same here in the Baltimore area. I have one hive that I think overwintered the drones. There were drones in January and drones day before yesterday. Lots of bees in the hives, but not a lot of brood. I'm thinking that fresh pollen might get them making wanna-bees.
