Thanks for sharing. I have only caught one swarm two years ago (it's still going strong), and it was small at the time. I keep on the lookout for another. Our swarm season doesn't start for another two months.

Wow, the open air hives are unusual, at least up here. How do they survive that long under their circumstances (rain)? Obviously have been there a while. Their scout bees must have failed "Scouting 101". I take it they are not that unusual in Fl? J

Yes, I did.....especially all the brood comb I kept.

It got hot and thankfully the maintenance guy brought me two bottles of water.

Then I went to eat lunch at Bill Evans Restaurant and had a WONDERFUL pot roast sandwich before heading back out to pick up
all 3 of these hives at nightfall.

Well, all I can say is it's Florida. I don't do these types of removals really ever because usually the lift cost and they are too high to bother anyone.
It was very odd that I had two tree colonies in one day.

I agree with that to an extent.

However, some of the comb could have have been bleached by the sun, and scorched by the moon....

    LOLOLOL

    I'm much too monotone.

I appreciate the kind words, however.
