Default Berseem clover for bee forage

Has any one had any experience in using berseem clover for bee forage? I'm looking at options for my land this year, and really like the idea that it blooms the first year, but wondering if it is worthwhile to plant for the bees. How does it compare to yellow / white sweet clover for production potential?

I planted some of the big bee berseem two years ago. I wasn't all that impressed. I don't remember seeing many bees on it and it didn't seem to reseed.
