    You may not get much wax from old brood comb but the frames scrape nice and clean when they are hot out of the melter.The groove in a grooved bottom bar is a pain to clean.I bent some angles in an old screwdriver and ground it so that it fit in the groove.

    Thanks, cleaning the wax build up is one of the reasons I am building this.
    Insect farming is soooo interesting :)
