Anyone ferment honey for the still? I've found the easiest (laziest) way to deal my cappings is just toss them in a bucket, straining bag and all. Water and yeast, sugar to get gravity to make ~15% and let it bubble. Run it through my little pot still, and presto. Haven't gotten into any fancy recipes yet, usually run through twice, makes a clean 80%ish.
The cappings come out surprisingly clean and get melted down for wax.
