    Default OA Dribble in TBH?

Has anyone done an OA dribble in a TBH? I've been doing OAV but my equipment is spotty and I'm tired of fighting it. I sent a message to the seller tonight to hopefully see if there's any ideas, but meanwhile I have an untreated hive. Thanks!

Yes, works well for me. Use a syringe I got at Tractors Supply that automatically doses out 5 ml (per seam). If there is a good amount of brood, you need to do 3 treatments over 3 weeks. Rany Oliver's site has info on OA dribble.

It doesn't work very well in the summertime. Even without brood.

Thanks for the responses. I've read Randy Oliver's site on it. Did you guys use kitchen scales or what to measure the OA?

I've normally done mine in the Fall or before Spring buildup.

    With 2.5% w/v we expect 26% efficacy.

Provided that broodless and 5mL pro seam.

sjj. Are you sure about that? That looks more like the expected results with full brood (see attached) which is why you would then want to treat over several weeks. What am I missing here?

I usually treat with an oa dribble in August with brood, I used alcohol washes to test before and after this year and went from 2/300 to 1/300 with two dribbles a week apart. I only used this on one hive, my others I did walk away splits near the end of June and dribbled the parent hives during the broodless time in July.
