    Default Hi All

New bee keeper here from NC USA. Started out with 2 packages and eventually had to combine them. Neither my mentors or the local inspector could tell what was causing their issues, but the combine seemed to take care of all of it.

Bees are booming now. I have been looking at this forum since February when I started my bee class. I am going to wait until August to finish my certified bee keeper. I took the written part, just waiting to do the hands on. I have been very fortunate to have the mentors and other club members I have had access to. If you are just starting out, don't hesitate to ask for help when you have questions. It just might save your bees like it did mine.

I get to be the first to say welcome.

    Welcome

    certified bee keeper
A lot of folks believe certified beekeeper is a redundant term as certifiable and beekeeper are considered synonymous. LOL Congrats on passing the written portion.

Don't know where in NC you are, but welcome from the southwestern Piedmont.
