    Default Mixing breeds by re-queening. Okay to do?

    Is it okay to introduce a Carniolan queen to an Italian hive which isn't "queen-right? That's one of my quickest options at this time. Not enough brood yet in my other hive to steal a frame with eggs for them to raise their own...

    If you allow the queen to fly to mate, you have no control over the strain of bee she runs into.
