That was odd. They arrived, clustered, hung out for 2 hours, then broke cluster, flew around a bit, and then moved in. ????

I'm 95% certain I saw the queen at 1:13:30 (YouTube time), but they got restless anyways.

I've been watching this for several hours while working. Work on one monitor, swarm-cam on the other . Got jealous and took a break to hang a swarm trap in the back yard.

Pretty sure I saw the queen on the face of the landing board between 1:02:01 and 1:02:03, youtube time.

    I think I concur!

    (click for full size)

    Watch her again!

That'll give you 6 seconds to full-screen it and then slow it down to .25x speed to watch her saunter in.

But here's the weird part--12 minutes later, she's outside the box in the cluster. I knelt down and pointed at her. You can't see her on the video at that point, but it was definitely her.

Pretty sure I found out why they left the first time. At 1:02:52 the queen falls off the face of the landing board onto the table with a couple attendants and walks around until about 1:03:18 and then flies off.
Didn't see her come back but at 1:10:31 she comes out of the entrance on the far left and turns around and goes back in at 1:10:36 and comes right back out.
Then lands back on the landing board at 1:11:09.

Man, you've got good eyes!! Please refer me to your optometrist!

And at 1:11:02 you can see her zoom in from off-camera, from the right side, and then hover a bit before landing. It's all easier to see at 1/4 speed, especially once you've been told what to look for.

Apparently the queen wasn't thrilled with the new digs. She went in and out several times, and then yesterday the whole swarm absconded :

Do you see the queen leaving in this video?
